We built this high-performance custom home with a modern aesthetic carefully shaped to preserve the history of the surrounding neighborhood. Designed with Cadence Studios, the project balanced contemporary living with the architectural criteria of the Arapahoe Acres subdivision, resulting in a home that feels both forward-looking and contextually grounded.

Working from an existing foundation and within budget constraints required thoughtful planning from the start. The finished home includes an insulated foundation and exterior walls, rain screen cladding, continuous insulation, conditioned crawlspace and attic spaces, high-performance windows and doors, an audio-video future-proofing package, and an Energy Recovery Ventilator that provides filtered fresh air and thermal efficiency. Achieving a 1.0 ACH50 rating, the project reflects a strong union of design discipline and building performance based on passive house principles.
