TODD GOLD
Todd has spent the past 25 years pursuing his passion for unique, complicated, design forward construction projects. Drawing upon his deep expertise in construction management and keen eye for detail, Todd has led both residential, commercial, civil and environmental projects with a dedication to delivering superior craftsmanship and exceeding client expectations. Since founding Build 3 in 2013, Todd has built the firm on a foundation of experience, reliability and placing client needs and desires at the forefront of every project.
Todd holds a B.S. in Construction Systems Management and a minor in Business from The Ohio State University.
In his free time, Todd enjoys spending time with his son (Levi), cooking, hands-on construction, and thrives in the outdoors while scuba diving and challenging himself in the backcountry.
MERRICK STARK
Merrick met Todd in 2019, and after a year of working together joined Build3 in 2020 as a Partner. Merrick understands that each home is a personal representation of her clients in a physical space, and takes time to collaborate intimately with them to bring their needs, wants and style to the home. With a passion for sourcing unique, high quality product lines, Merrick's style seamlessly blends compelling elements with functionality to create spaces that inspire and endure.
Merrick holds a B.S. in Mathematics and a minor in Business Administration from Ohio University. Like many others, her passion took her career in another direction, although she'll be the first to admit she still loves math.
In her spare time, Merrick enjoys spending time with her three kids (Foster, Shepard and Hayes), being outdoors, cooking and designing her own next home project.
JON THOMSON
Jon has carried a passion to create throughout his entire life. After growing up on the east coast, he moved to Colorado, gaining his degree in Environmental Design with an emphasis on Sustainable Architectural Design from The University of Colorado. Post grad, Jon spent over a decade in commercial construction evolving Denver’s skyline.
Widely known among family and friends for his passion to build, whether renovating his own home or creating bespoke furniture in his woodshop, it was only natural when he joined Build 3 - combining his extensive construction experience with his passion for residential building.
With a belief in the transformative power of construction, Jon takes a consultative approach to ensure the highest level of service accompanies the highest level of craftsmanship.
In his free time, you can find him golfing, snowboarding, woodworking and spending time with his family.
BRIAN CULLUM
Brian is an experienced subcontractor with 20 years of expertise in a variety of fields including framing, metal fabrication, welding, project management, and mechanics. He is a certified welder and metal fabricator, skilled in creating handrails, stairs, fireplace hearths, and structural steel for high-end custom homes. Brian's versatile skill set also includes carpentry, project management, and mechanics.
Brian's passion for his craft is evident in his commitment to continuous learning. He completed a welder certification program at Lincoln Tech in 2015, further solidifying his expertise. With his extensive skills and unwavering dedication to excellence, Brian delivers exceptional results on every project he takes on.
In his free time Brian can be found camping, working on his new house, or spending time with friends and family. He has also built an impressive reputation in the Metro Denver and foothills area, specializing in fixing and rebuilding Toyotas, 4x4 trucks , diesel engines, and turbo rebuilds for race cars.
