We renovated this mid-century modern home to better support a family of four, pairing updated finishes with the addition of a new primary suite. The goal was to increase the home’s overall function without losing the character that gave it its original identity. The result is a more capable home that feels both grounded in its era and better suited to everyday life.

Built on a challenging lot, the project required careful planning around differential soil settlement as the addition took shape. Stabilization of the home, along with high-performance windows and doors and upgraded insulation, helped reinforce comfort and durability throughout. In collaboration with ArcDen, we delivered an update that expanded the home’s usefulness while protecting its architectural integrity.
