A whole-home renovation and pool house designed around wellness, comfort, and modern luxury.

We renovated this early-2000s home to create a more modern expression of luxury while adding an oversized pool house designed for wellness and recovery. The new structure includes a spa for ten and an active resistance therapy pool, making the project as much about experience and use as it was about architecture and finish.

The complexity of the work centered on designing a substantial below-grade area to house the spa and therapy pool equipment while ensuring consistent dehumidification and mechanical performance within the pool house. Insulated foundations, rain screen cladding, closed-cell spray foam, conditioned crawlspace construction, high-performance windows and doors, audio-video future-proofing, and an extensive mechanical system all helped support that vision. In collaboration with Goerig Design, we created a project where technical coordination and livability are equally present.
