Homes Built to Perform. Designed for the Way You Live

Serving the Colorado Front Range.

Start a Conversation

BUILD³ guides homeowners and architects through the custom home journey with clarity and confidence from start to finish. By aligning design intent, budget realities, and construction decisions early, we reduce surprises and deliver homes that are thoughtfully crafted, durable, and well-suited to how you actually live across Colorado’s foothills and Front Range.

Great homes don’t start with construction.

They start with clarity.

That belief shapes how BUILD³ approaches every project, influencing decisions long before construction begins and guiding the work that follows.

What Makes BUILD³ Different

Planning Before Commitment

We believe great projects begin with alignment. By addressing feasibility, budget realities, and expectations early, homeowners and architects can move forward with clarity instead of discovering problems later.

Performance as a Baseline

Comfort, durability, and long-term livability are fundamental to every home we build. In mountain-adjacent environments, especially, thoughtful performance is essential.

Honest Collaboration

Strong projects are built on clear communication and mutual respect. By raising questions early and working closely with both homeowners and architects, we protect the design and the experience from start to finish.

These principles shape every BUILD³ project.

See How We Work

Our Approach

Every BUILD³ project follows a clear, collaborative process that aligns vision, budget, and performance from the beginning. By planning early and working closely with architects and homeowners, we reduce surprises and deliver homes that perform beautifully over time.

Plan

We start by understanding your goals, site conditions, and budget. This phase establishes feasibility and assembles the right team before design begins.

Design

We collaborate with your architect to guide the design with constructability, cost awareness, and performance in mind.

Build

With the plan and design aligned, our team manages construction with careful attention to detail and clear communication.

Settle In

After construction is complete, we walk you through the home, answer questions, and make sure you feel fully confident living in the space we created together.

The Leadership Behind the Process

BUILD³ is led by Todd Gold and Merrick Stark, who personally guide projects from the earliest decisions through construction to ensure clarity, buildability, and long-term livability are never disconnected.

From walking a property you’re considering to pressure-testing early ideas, they help homeowners and architects understand what’s realistic, what requires careful planning, and where early decisions will have the greatest long-term impact. Their involvement ensures that design intent, site realities, and construction decisions are considered together, not handed off or solved in isolation.

That leadership is grounded in real-world experience:

  • Deep mountain-building expertise
across the Front Range and Colorado foothills, including complex sites, access constraints, and high-elevation conditions

  • Hands-on understanding of how homes actually live,
informed by years of planning, building, and solving problems in demanding environments

  • Fluent collaboration with architects and engineers,
bridging design intent with constructability before issues show up in the field

  • Practical performance insight,
focused on comfort, durability, and long-term reliability rather than buzzwords or unnecessary upgrades

Build3 has been very helpful with consultations and scheduling, and they completely took over the permitting process—including the loose ends that often fall back on the architect. That level of ownership is a huge help.

Anna R

I’ve personally worked with Build 3 on some of their projects. Nothing but great things to say about them! Well-built custom homes and renovations with attention to detail and great customer relations. Great team player, amazing problem-solving skills, and a good attitude on the job site.

J. Mauro

I have hired Build3 for several projects over the years, from remodeling my kitchen and bathrooms, to building a cedar pergola in my backyard, and rehabbing my rental properties. Todd has always delivered exactly what he said he would, on schedule. He even came back and personally replaced my kitchen floor that had been installed by a subcontractor that was not up to par. Good general contractors are hard to find these days, and I appreciate someone who has a strong work ethic and values customer service. I will be using Build3 on my next remodel.

Brandon S

We’ve had Todd work on quite a few projects for us in the past, and we’ve always been extremely happy with his service and will certainly use him again in the future. Just talking to him for a few minutes you can tell he truly knows his craft and his performance backs it up. He makes sure all our questions are answered, always answers his phone, his prices are competitive, and the finished product is always perfect. More than happy to vouch for him and his team.
