Position Overview
We’re looking for an experienced Residential Construction Superintendent to oversee day-to-day field operations on our homebuilding projects. This role is responsible for managing subcontractors, maintaining schedules, ensuring quality standards, and keeping projects on track from groundbreaking to final walkthrough.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage all on-site construction activities for residential projects
• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, and trades
• Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to company standards
• Maintain job site safety and enforce compliance with OSHA regulations
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality control
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, and clients
• Review plans, specifications, and schedules to anticipate issues
• Maintain accurate daily logs and progress reports
• Oversee inspections and ensure successful project closeouts
Qualifications
• 2+ years of experience as a Superintendent in residential construction or applicable field.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codes
• Proven ability to manage multiple trades and meet deadlines
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents
• Proficiency with construction management software is a plus
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
